World Series of Poker kicked off its April WSOP Online Circuit Series on April 12, 2023 for players in Nevada, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The online event which is expected to end on April 23, 2023 has been off to a flying start.
As announced by WSOP, the online tournament will be divided across three regions, with each region hosting 12 separate rings and events. Players in Michigan stand a chance to win from a pool of $350K guaranteed. Buy-ins to the different events start at $100.
In the Michigan region, the standout event drawing most attention is the $525 Main Event. This event boasts a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000 and players are allowed up to three re-entries. The $525 Main Event will take place on the last day of the Series, Sunday, April 23.
There are several other tournaments that you’ll find exciting, especially the Mystery Bounty. WSOP Michigan throws in three Mystery Bounty events taking place at different times during the Series. The Mystery Bounty 6-Max offering a Guaranteed prize pool of $30K is one of such impressive contests with a buy-in of $215.
You also have a $215 buy-in Mystery Bounty 8-Max with a $50000 Guaranteed Prize Pool and a $100 buy-in Mystery Bounty with $20K Guaranteed. On Wednesday April 19, players will also compete for a $20K guaranteed prize pool in the $215 PLO 6-Max competition. There are three re-entries allowed for the pot-limit Omaha event and it requires a $215 buy-in.
